I had trouble believing that this character and the star of "Sherlock", Benedict Cumberbatch were unrelated, but Google does turn up a whole clan. Benedict's career seems to go back only to 2001, so there may be no connection. Perhaps it's just that very few Cumberbatches ever emigrated. --Old Dickens 03:03, 18 April 2011 (CEST)
