The Nirvana annotation wants some explanation. While not my taste, Nirvana was a competent and certainly successful band, and Scrote doesn't seem to resemble the Seattle area. --Old Dickens (talk) 23:50, 21 July 2018 (UTC)

Three guys (the original members, let's leave Dave Grohl out of this for now, he came along later), coming from a middle-of-nowhere place in the general Seattle environs (some 100km away, checking on Google Maps), where the general cliche (as immortalised by Weird Al Yankovic) was that they didn't want to be cattle-farmers any more. --Lias Bluestone (talk) 07:05, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
