No. I don't think that's supportable. A high proportion of TP's early adopters were in science/engineering (with surely the occasional chemist); some of these created afp and eventually this wiki. An understanding of science has never, obviously, precluded an appreciation of fantasy (or even less, sci-fi). Two of the three administrators here are from some "tech" occupation with its own understanding and jargon --Old Dickens (talk) 15:44, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
