On the '1984' connection: are some of Nuggan's more lunatic Abominations the Discworld equivalent of 2+2=5? That is, imposed for the sake of imposing them, and for the power gained by having the believer adjust their world-view to accomodate the obviously wrong and impossible. (how can the colour of the sky be an "abomination", and how can people prevent themselves from looking at it, just as Winston Smith knows in his heart of hearts that 2+2 does NOT '=5'...)--AgProv 01:04, 30 April 2007 (CEST)
