Talk:Krull

The film Krull was released in July 1983. Would anyone know what month that year The Colour of Magic was released? The strange co-incidence of a central character in both works being an incompetent and cowardly wizard is bugging me a little. (Then again, are both playing on the archetype of the Wizard of Oz characters?)
