Traps and Deadfalls

A learning module at the Assassins' Guild school, taught by Grunworth Nivor. By default, Mr Nivor must also teach his pupils to recognise and handle the Emergency Drop, as this is so often a pitfall, consequent to falling into a trap or not recognising until too late that a trap has been laid.

In later books, we encounter Miss Alice Band, who also teaches locks, traps and deadfalls. She demonstrates the value of the course to her student Jocasta Wiggs by sending her to reconnoiter the Ramkin Residence.
