Elsie Simnel

Elsie was the accepted village midwife in the town of Sheepridge. As we know, midwives are only a step or two away from being witches. She was the wife of village blacksmith and engineering thinker Ned Simnel until the unfortunate day a three-eighths Gripley really did fail, leaving only a crater and a mushroom cloud of pink smoke.
