Mouls are fearsome, animal-like creatures from the dark unswept regions at the edges of the Carpet. They have domesticated and ride Snargs. They wear black leather with bone rings and have a heavy plet with large paws, long animalistic faces and exceptional night vision.
The also appear to worship the Fray, following in its wake and benefiting from its destruction. They have used this to defeat or infiltrate other areas on the Carpet such as High Gate Land and Jeopard.
