Nominally Sir Geoffrey is its Chairman, but Daphne's Grandmother is the majority shareholder. This is what we might today call a "multinational" wielding more influence than a mere government. British history has a precedent, the all-powerful East India Trading Company, which until unfortunate incidents happened in 1857, ran British India on behalf of the Empire.
