Lancre Caves

The Lancre Caves are a series of caves in the mountains near Lancre. The most notable of these caves has at its entrance what is most likely to be a simulacrum, or naturally occurring statue, of a witch with water coming off her nose and forming a long hooked stalactite. However, some observers have noticed a resemblance between the statue and Granny Weatherwax's grandmother, who disappeared one day walking off into the wilds.

The caves are accessed by crossing the notorious Gnarly Ground in the correct manner. If this, the caves or the witch taking time out in them do not want to be found, you will surely be advised of this in an escalatingly threatening manner.
