:”Chilli” is the common British (and Australian) English spelling for the pepper (we don’t call them peppers, we call them chillies). Chili and chile are rarely used, but sometimes for specific dishes whose names are in Spanish (e.g. ''chile con carne''). So I think it should be “chilli”, as per the book. - ”Chilli” is the common British (and Australian) English spelling for the pepper (we don’t call them peppers, we call them chillies). Chili and chile are rarely used, but sometimes for specific dishes whose names are in Spanish (e.g. chile con carne). So I think it should be “chilli”, as per the book.
