I've usually seen illustrated and assumed that the procrastinators spun on a vertical axis. This seems intuitive and puts most of the stress on the bottom bearing which can be buttered quickly by the attendant. {{NW}}, however, mentions the set Lu-Tze uses in Ankh-Morpork which "look like your grannie's mangle". "Backpack" personal models would need to work in any orientation, so it's the old problem of priorities. --[[User:Old Dickens|Old Dickens]] ([[User talk:Old Dickens|talk]]) 01:34, 16 March 2021 (UTC) | I've usually seen illustrated and assumed that the procrastinators spun on a vertical axis. A Roundworld procrastinator hall. The massive flywheels in the cylinders store energy rather than time, but what's one without the other? --Old Dickens (talk) 03:27, 3 May 2018 (UTC)

I've usually seen illustrated and assumed that the procrastinators spun on a vertical axis. This seems intuitive and puts most of the stress on the bottom bearing which can be buttered quickly by the attendant. Night Watch, however, mentions the set Lu-Tze uses in Ankh-Morpork which "look like your grannie's mangle". "Backpack" personal models would need to work in any orientation, so it's the old problem of priorities. --Old Dickens (talk) 01:34, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
