Suggested: The page currently says that Wonse and Throat are original characters. I think it's fairly clear that Throat will be Cut-Me-Own-Throat Dibbler, and Wonse will be Lupine Wonse from Guards! :I don't know how clear that is when they're both female and other characters are similarly transformed. Presumably they fill similar roles, but changing sex would make them and others fairly original. I'd have to see the finished product (but I'm not keen on modernised Shakespeare, either). --Old Dickens (talk) 17:38, 13 January 2020 (UTC) | :I don't know how clear that is when they're both female and other characters are similarly transformed. ::The name and descriptions currently available pretty clearly links them to the existing characters, though? Throat is directly said to be "based on Cut-Me-Own-Throat Dibbler" in the release, so that's unambiguous, while Wonse is described as "re-imagined", which indicates a character at least drawing inspiration from the existing one. I think it'd be better not to create separate articles but to have an "In Other Media" section for the originals detailing their differences, much as you find on Wikipedia. -- Guybrush (talk) 03:36, 14 January 2020 (UTC) |
