Bonsai mountains are to mountains what Roundworld bonsais are to trees: by means of careful placing of mirrors and control of wind, one can develop a miniature mountain. Bonsai mountains are not widely cultivated, due to the aforesaid time consumption. Notable appearances are Lu-Tze's bonsai mountains in Small Gods and Thief of Time.
