This is the library at the Guild of Fools and Joculators and College of Clowns. Named in honour of Bouncy Normo, the world's funniest clown, it acts as a repository for some of the Discworld's oldest and most precious joke books. Jesters down the ages have filed their Guild-approved jokes here for centuries, and clowns register their acts and pratfalls here. It is rumoured that the Library houses an original copy of the Monster Fun Grimoire under safe lock and key; it certainly has the original manuscript for M. Jean-Paul Pune's masterwork on the nature of humour, Essay on a form of wit.
The Compleat Ankh-Morpork notes that this facility is no longer open to the public.
