During the glory days of the Royal Ankh-Morpork Post Office, a branch was also based in the city state of Quirm.
Due to a miscommunication in the twilight years of the Ankh-Morpork monarchy, the king issuing an order with his mouth full, Quirm's branch of the Royal Post Office once employed trained ostriches as delivery staff.
