:Worse, she's not even a "coder". Lovelace was, but data ''transmission'' probably didn't occur to her. They're pretty remote. Evidence for annotation?
So, I can't argue with the cryptography Alice reference. I mean, I don't see any positive evidence for it, but it's a reasonable and interesting thought.
