A country mentioned in The Colour of Magic. It is located on the Main continent on the Turnwise Ocean beside Whale Bay. When the tourist Twoflower, who he was charged with protecting on pain of death, is abducted by thieves Rincewind considers his options. Top of his list is fleeing both the city of Ankh-Morpork and the Circle Sea region. He considers the countries of Chimera, Gonim & Ecalpon to be safely beyond the reach of the Patrician and that half a dozen armies could not bring him back.
Luckily for Twoflower, Rincewind had an attack of conscience and bravely rescued the tourist from the combined grip of the thieves, assassins and merchants. All of his own free will. Or he could have been eaten by the Luggage of his own free will...
