Sir Geoffrey is the mysterious and shadowy chairman of The Company, the organisation monopolising British trading with "the colonies" and perhaps one of the most powerful people in the alternate Earth of Nation. even so, he is still second fiddle to Daphne's Grandmother, who owns, or at least has a controlling interest in, the Company... he sends the Cutty Wren out on a mission to locate the missing Daphne.
