: ...also featured in other bawdy songs and limericks. I haven't read ''Gravity's Rainbow'', but its wiki lists no farters or carters. I have read Catch-22 but don't recall any Farters and I don't think I'll do a re-read; it wants someone with an e-book copy. {{wp|List of Catch-22 characters|Wikipedia}} doesn't list any Carters there, either.
