Terry Pratchett First Novel Award
The Terry Pratchett First Novel Award also known as 'The Terry Pratchett Prize' and 'Terry Pratchett Anywhere But Here, Anywhen But Now First Novel Award;' was a biennial award offered by Transworld Publishers, the owner of Doubleday and Corgi, since 2011. The award was open to unpublished novels from novelists that have not yet had any other publications printed who lived in the Commonwealth of Nations or Ireland. The nominees were judged by a panel of judges which included Terry Pratchett, winners of the award would receive a publishing contract with Transworld Publishers and £20,000 prize money.
Winners
2011: Jointly won by Half-Sick of Shadows by David Logan and Apocalypse Cow by Michael Logan.
2013: Won by The Hive Construct by Alexander Maskill.
The prize had not been awarded since 2013 due to the passing of Sir Terry Pratchett in 2015.
