...a place to list all known Witches, including those mentions without enough history for their own article. --Old Dickens 19:22, 22 November 2006 (CET)

I thought the central, defining point about Mrs Snapperly was that she was not a witch. --Old Dickens 05:24, 4 September 2010 (CEST)

She did die as one, though, and Tiffany takes deep and bloody-minded pains to ensure she is remembered for the fact she died and the error for which she died. This is surely worth a honarorary mention in the listings? --AgProv 11:08, 6 September 2010 (CEST)

Apprentices

Could we just take out that section and shove them into the main witches section? We're talking about women who are witchy even if they don't have the official title of witch, such as Mrs. Gogol. Also, I want to put Leticia Keepsake on the list; she's not an official apprentice as of I Shall Wear Midnight, but Tiffany says a few times that she IS a witch. (Not an aspiring witch. A witch.) And...I don't care that most of the books take place while they are in their childhood, they're grown up with steadings of their own now as far as I'm concerned. :) Seebs 02:56, 6 February 2012 (CET)

I don't think there is an "official title of witch"; one is or not. The trainee witches are grown now, but the stories are about their formative years, as noted at the bottom (and there aren't likely to be any more). Letitia can be inserted with the others who didn't likely go through any apprenticeship either. (As mentioned above, AgProv includes Mrs Snapperly on the mere suspicion of being a Witch.) Anyway, you haven't presented the advantage of slashing and burning or re-inventing the wheel. --Old Dickens 03:28, 6 February 2012 (CET)
