Talk:Flint-knapping

TP has not convinced me. First, we have to allow that flint-knapping and prostitution are professions, rather than the skilled trades they seem to be. I suggest that the first profession was that of priest, being the first to elevate himself above the group as an intermediary between mere mortals and the god(s). This depends on your definition of "profession"; nowadays there are "professional" exterminators and car stereo installers, but even if we allow everyone professional status I suspect priest was first. --Old Dickens 05:52, 12 February 2011 (CET)
