Fredor

Fredor was a resident of Ankh-Morpork at the time of The Colour of Magic, and he was also the presumed owner of the Crimson Leech, at least before the fire (which was started at the Broken Drum as the result of Ankh-Morpork's first ever insurance scam).

It was mentioned by barbarian heroes Bravd and Weasel that they owned Fredor money- eight silver pieces, to be precise. Therefore, as the two barbarian heroes watched the fire from outside the city, they reflected that it was good the fire would probably destroy the Crimson Leech and annul their debt.
