Acrobatic Meerkat

This is a highly intelligent social animal, presumably out of Howondaland, resident in the Patrician's Palace Menagerie. It spends its time trying to distract its keepers while getting on with progressively more bizarre and highly imaginative escape attempts.

Annotation

To all those classic WW2 prisoner-of-war movies such as Colditz, and specifically The Great Escape. No meerkat has yet been observed trying to jump the border fence on a motorcycle, though. this is presumably only because, in general, motorcycles have not been officially invented yet; it's a long way back to Howondaland (do meerkats who manage a home run send postcards back to boost their mate's morale?); and apart from Agatea, Discworld borders generally are not fenced.
