Petunia the Desert Princess

Petunia the Desert Princess is a group of female impersonators who appear in The Last Continent. The members of the group include Neilette, who is unusual among female impersonators (she took over for her brother Noelene, and is actually female, shades of Victor, Victoria). There is Letitia, who affects purple spangly dresses and can change a cartwheel in no time at all; and Darleen, who can swear like a real lady and throw a mean punch.

The Luggage briefly joins up with Petunia while looking for Rincewind, and also "dresses up" like a female. Here, "she" is known as Trunkie.

Annotation

This is a parody of the Roundworld movie Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. There are also overtones of Australia's best-known (even in the USA) drag act, Dame Edna Everage (Barry Humphries).
