Kindling Day

Held in the month of Ember in the woddworking and furniture-making town of Fratchwood, this festival honours not only the principal trade of the locality, it is completely in keeping with the cleansing, tidying and purifying aspects of Ember, in that a years' worth of accumulated useless offcuts, wood-shavings and swdust may be piled into large bonfires and burmnt in honour of Sweevo, God of cut and shaped timber.
