Diamondwood Tree

The Diamondwood Tree is a tall tree that grows on the lower slopes of Mount Awayawa in the island nation of Trob. In order to make a canoe from diamondwood, both axe and fire must be used. Since Mount Awayawa is said to be the home of the firegods, perhaps the diamondwood tree is sacred(?).

Annotation

Probably a reference to Roundworld's Ironwood which is a name given to any trees that have a reputation for hardness.
