Crossbows come in all shapes and sizes on the Disc, from your AM$10 Saturday night special (such as that kept by Mr Goriff in case of unruly [or unpaying] customers at Mundane Meals) through to genuine Burleigh & Stronginthearm made-to-measure items with polished walnut stock and silver tooling (such as Nobby receives from the Hogfather and Sam Vimes receives as a wedding present from Lady Sybil Ramkin).

There is also the Piecemaker. More a siege weapon, but, considering who wields it, still a personal weapon.
