Talk:Whiteface

Not at all clear that he's new to the office : theCompanion says a Dr. Whiteface has been in charge for three hundred years. Presumably he, like other clowns and joeys, has passed down the suit and face with the office through the generations. Perhaps the "Chief Butt" is a sort of civic fool who attends public functions to show the motley flag lest Dr. Whiteface appear to be enjoying himself?--Old Dickens 15:36, 20 May 2007 (CEST)
