Talk:Granpone
I'm almost certain there's a duplicate entry somewhere else, possibly under a slgihtly different title (Grampone? Grampone the white?). Bring together and marry the two? --AgProv 21:09, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
Problem: GraNpone or GraMpone? Which is canonical? Help...--AgProv 21:22, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
It's Granpone in the APF and my memory. --Old Dickens 22:07, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
- Ah. I just found a "Grampone the White" article, which wasn't even in the Wizards category or linked to from the Equal Rites book page (I've been creating new pages just by going through the book pages, finding stuff that has a red link, and creating an article for it). In the APF it's Granpone, and in the book it's Granpone as well.
- Also, as a more general point, there are several other characters who have a "the ________" at the end of their names... Kerible the Enchanter, Jeophal the Spry... should they be moved to the full title of their name? TC01 22:17, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
The general rule is "first name, last name, no titles or honorifics". Cohen, however, gets the descriptor and some exception might be necessary for clarity. Not any of those examples, though, I wouldn't think. --Old Dickens 22:44, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
- Got it. Then would Granpone and Grampone the White be merged into one article with the description of this one, the annotation of the other one, and the title of this one? TC01 01:22, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
That was my general inclination, yes. --Old Dickens 01:49, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
