Aargrooha

A troll game vaguely resembling football, where you rip off a human's head and use this as the ball. Participating Trolls then kick it up and down a field whilst wearing special boots made of obsidian until either a goal is scored or the head bursts.

We are assured that this isn't played much any more, possibly because the secret of making the boots is dying out.

Professor Hix of Unseen University thinks out loud, at possibly un-necessary length, on the practicalities of such a game, in Unseen Academicals, with particular reference to maintaining the structural integrity of the "ball".
