There seems to be a lot of confusion here. The Chalk's giant is a hill figure which likely resembles the Cerne Abbas version, as pictured. The Long Man, in Lancre, is a simple arrangement of three mounds, as described at the beginning of the article. I don't think there's a suggestion of much similarity, except in the broad theme. Mind you, making stuff up has become very popular here lately, so perhaps we should consider the internal truthiness of each contributor's vision and not be too judgmental? --Old Dickens 23:52, 26 October 2010 (CEST)

Yes you're quite right - I shoved it in without checking and I apologise. I went to bed wondering if it was right, but the knew the Truth Gnomes would sort it all out for me by the time I logged back on, and hey presto! They did.
