The Kvetch are a species mentioned by Captain Carrot in Night Watch that is native to Mouldavia.
Kvetch are described as hairy and living deep within the forest. Captain Vimes states that they would learn more about them when asked by Vetinari (forced then) to employ one in the City Watch.
In The Compleat Discworld Atlas it is noted that Kvetch migrants to Ankh-Morpork mainly establish beauty salons for work, and frequently write to the Ankh-Morpork Times to complain about various matters.
