We are told that the drinkers in the tavern were drinking the classic combination of [[Klatchian Coffee]] with orakh chasers, so as to get [[knurd]] - but not too much so too quickly, as one acts as a necessary brake upon the other. Quoting the text "Deep in its heartwood the Luggage was troubled. It had been spurned. It had been told to go away. It had been rejected. It had also drunk enough orakh to poison a small country.". Of course, this doesn't specify how much Klatchian coffee (if any) it'd had, but I still sense the Luggage was bumping-into-things drunk, not overly sober?
