[[Mr. Shine]] gave him a troll club for winning five games in a row, which he values very ~~high~~. He is also interested in the [[Battle(s) of Koom Valley\|battle of Koom Valley]] and bought a copy of the [[Koom Valley Codex]]. While going into the mountains to find himself, he ~~became~~ apprentice to the [[Grag]] [[Ardent]] and ~~followed~~ him back to [[Ankh-Morpork]]. He becomes increasingly uncomfortable with the activities of the Grags there and eventually is overcome by his fear of the [[Summoning Dark]].
