This fired up the creation of the &#039;&#039;moving pictures&#039;&#039; industry.<br /> <br /> Essential to this industry are the Handlemen, the people who turned the handle on an [[iconograph]] that would whip the [[imps]] inside to paint pictures really fast on a moving drum of octocellulose.
