The '''Wahoonie''' is a large, spiky, smelly fruit, resembling the Roundworld ''durian'', but even larger and elongated. The city of [[Ankh-Morpork]] is sometimes affectionately called ''The Big Wahoonie'' as New York is called ''The Big Apple'', or Jakarta ''The Big Durian''.

Being extremely rare the fruit has become much prized among connoisseurs (according to footnote in ''[[Book:The Truth|The Truth]]'').
