Hi, I'm new here, so I thought I'd state that I'm still learning - that in mind, how far are articles meant to go? I didn't write more in case of spoilers...?

I think Mau's age can be pinned down to 13 at the start of the book.  Mau is remembering events when was 8 at the grandfathers cave.  He says this was 5 years ago. Can anyone confirm this?

Is there any way to know how to pronounce "Mau"? ''Mao'' (Zedong), ''Moe'' (Stooge)? There may be hundreds of Pratchett words we don't really know how to pronounce.
